AgentReady

Agent readiness, measured

Can AI agents actually use your website?

Scan any public URL and get a 0-100 score for how easily ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and browser agents can read, navigate, and act on your site — plus a prioritized fix list with copy-paste code.

Press / to focus. Public pages only — we fetch and respect robots.txt.

How it works

1

Enter your URL

We fetch your homepage, robots.txt, llms.txt, and sitemap the way an agent would — raw HTML, no JavaScript, no cookies.

2

We run 19 agent checks

Discoverability, instructions, structure, actionability, and trust. Each check shows the evidence found on your site.

3

Fix what matters

Get a prioritized list with copy-paste code for every failing check, and simulate how each fix moves your score.

What we check

19 checks across five weighted categories. Every check returns pass, warn, or fail with the exact evidence from your site.

20%

Discoverability

robots.txt, AI crawler access, sitemap, canonical URLs. If agents cannot get in, nothing else matters.

20%

Agent Instructions

llms.txt, meta descriptions, page titles. Tell the agent what your site is without making it guess.

20%

Machine-Readable Structure

JSON-LD, Open Graph, heading hierarchy, semantic landmarks, server-rendered content.

25%

Actionability

Labeled forms, named buttons, CAPTCHA friction, API discovery, and a navigable nav.

15%

Trust & Freshness

HTTPS enforcement, freshness signals, image alt text, and security headers.

Frequently asked questions

What is agent readiness?

Agent readiness is how easily an AI agent — ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or an autonomous browser agent — can read, navigate, and act on your website. A ready site server-renders its content, labels its forms, exposes real links, and publishes machine-readable instructions like llms.txt and JSON-LD.

What is llms.txt?

llms.txt is a markdown file at your domain root that gives AI agents a curated map of your site: what it does, what is on it, and which pages matter. It follows the llmstxt.org convention — a title, a summary, and sections of links.

Will this scan block or change my site?

No. AgentReady only reads. It fetches your robots.txt, llms.txt, sitemap, and homepage HTML over HTTPS, never executes JavaScript against your site, and never submits forms. It identifies itself as AgentReadyBot and respects robots.txt.

Is it free?

Yes. The free plan includes one scan per day with the full report. Pro adds unlimited scans, monitoring alerts, and bulk uploads — see the pricing page.

Does it store my data?

No personal data is stored. Scan results are cached for 24 hours keyed by the domain you scanned, then expire. We do not store your email, and no account is required to scan.

How is the score calculated?

Nineteen checks across five categories: Discoverability (20%), Agent Instructions (20%), Machine-Readable Structure (20%), Actionability (25%), and Trust and Freshness (15%). Each category scores 0-100 and the weighted average is your final score.

Which AI agents does it test for?

Crawlers used by ChatGPT (GPTBot, ChatGPT-User, OAI-SearchBot), Claude (ClaudeBot, Claude-Web), Perplexity (PerplexityBot), Google-Extended, Bingbot, and CCBot — plus general actionability checks that apply to any browser agent.
